THE GARDENS
Here shows the famous gardens of Ashford Estate. Mostly what Ashford is known for. It is said that even the king is jealous. With many different styles and themes in the gardens, you'll be sure to find the right area for yourself.
Inside Ashford
With Ashford being as big as it is, it has many rooms to show. Multiple bedrooms, drawing rooms, and parlors. And with those rooms, comes styles and themes. With the number of rooms, there was also room for creativity and freedom of choosing what they look like.
Halls of Ashford:
The Drawing Rooms:
(Above)This is the main drawing room that everyone uses. On the first floor and closest to everything else, it is the main room where everyone meets together.
Another area well known from Ashford Estate is it's yellow drawing room. Staying the same since the estate was built in 1735. Duchess Edith Hayes and all of the women before have said they just don't have the heart to change such a light, and happy room. Nearly everything in the room is yellow, from the walls down to areas in the rugs. |

(Above) The ladies' parlor. Where the women go if they don't wish to be bothered by the men. And also where the dress makers and shopping takes place.
(to the left) The men's parlor. Where men are only allowed. Men usually go here after dinner, to retire to talk about politics and drink brandy and smoke their cigars. |
